Soul Motion are proud to bring to you five R&B, Jazz and blues singers for a night of unforgettable classics for one night on Sunday 24th November at indigo at the O2.

Most notable for songs like ‘Rising to the top’ and Five Stairsteps ‘O-o-o-h Child’, Kenny Burke, a multitalented artist embarked on his solo career releasing his solo album in 1977.

Shirley Jones has shared the stage with artists such as Teddy Pendergrass, Aretha Franklin and Dianna Ross and as one of the trio that were the Jones sisters has performed songs such as ‘who can I run to’, ‘Nights over Egypt’, and many more as well as embarking on a solo career releasing two solo albums.

Billy Valentine of Birmingham, Alabama is a talented singer and pianist who has been on the music scene since the 1940’s and has performed songs such as Loney Nights.

Howard Johnson, founder of Nightflyte, had two songs on the Club Play Chart in the early 80’s with the song ‘so Fine’ hitting number one in 1982.

Randy Brown performed hit record ‘Pin the tail on the Donkey’ with the group The Newcomers in the early 1970’s and later went on to embark on a solo career. Randy is best know for tracks such as ‘I wanna make love’ and ‘we ought to be doing it’

All five will share one stage for a night of uptempo classic disco songs, some classic r&b soul with a layer of Jazz and Blues.
